(03/10/2009) - Did you see BBC Watchdog on Thursday 1st October?? Rogue Traders exposed a very dodgy mobile mechanic working in Essex whose standards of workmanship were literally shocking! Trading Standards were on the show and mentioned the best way to find a local reputable business is to look for their 'Buy With Confidence' logo. Back in March, this year we were throughly checked and approved by the Bucks County Council scheme. See here for more details.

Holmer Green Vehicle Service Centre on Earl Howe Road in Holmer Green , a member of the Bosch Car Service network, is celebrating this week after gaining recognition of their superior quality performance

The firm has achieved a perfect score in their recent, independently conducted assessment of the garage’s quality control systems and customer-handling practices. Participation in this rigorous assessment is one of the many mandatory measures required of the garage as a part of their membership of the Bosch car Service programme.

The award gives customers complete confidence that their vehicle will be attended to by a garage that has demonstrated excellence in both technical and customer service disciplines. Holmer Green Vehicle Service Centre like all Bosch Car Service garages also adhere to a Code of Conduct which provides consumers with a level of care above that required by law. This code is also fully approved by the Office of Fair Trading.

Howard Price, Technical Services Manager at Bosch, said: “I am delighted that Holmer Green Vehicle Service Centre has achieved the highest possible rating in their recent quality audit and qualify to receive a Bosch Quality Audit Certificate.

“Our assessment process is very thorough and is aimed at ensuring that people who take their vehicle to Holmer Green Vehicle Service Centre will receive high quality of service at an affordable cost. The OFT approval of our Consumer Code of Practice further demonstrates the commitment of Holmer Green Vehicle Service Centre to providing its customers with the highest level of care and transparency.

We are now able to offer a complete dealer level diagnostic and software soloution to all VAG group cars inc. Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda. We are one of the first few in the country to be using the dedicated Autologic® VAG group system. As well as fault code diagnosis we can now perform ECU and component coding, coding for replacement keys, brake pad replacement on electronically controlled park brake systems, adjustments to comfort settings such as auto door locking when you drive off, plus more and soon we will be able to provide reliable engine power ugrades which are particullarly effective on turbo diesel models, more details to follow.
