About Us Holmer Green Service Centre was established in 1983 by partners Michael Bryant and John Riley. With over 40 years experience of the motor trade, Holmer Green Service Centre provides a reliable and prompt service to its customers. The company has an extensive repeat customer base and happily welcomes new customers. Opening Hours We are open Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 18.00 (Excluding Bank Holidays) and are closed on Saturday and Sunday. Michael Bryant
- Partner Five-year apprenticeship at Rootes Group Kensington, Studied for City and Guilds Technicians certificates. Worked for B.M.C Australia as an Experimental Engineer. Studied for an Engineering Diploma in Sydney and returned to the U.K. in 1970. Mike then started his own business, Speed Care and joined John Riley as partner of Holmer Green Service Centre in 1983. Mike is a Fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry (FIMI).
Mark Banks - Master Technician
Mark has worked at Holmer Green Service Centre since June 1996 and has attended many training courses to keep up with the ever changing technology since then. As well as servicing, repairs and MOT testing Mark specialises in diagnostic testing and fault finding of electronic systems such as engine management, ABS, airbags etc. And also air conditioning work using the latest Bosch computer equipment. After completing a written exam and practical task assessments In the 2006 'Top Technician' national competition run by a leading motor trade magazine, Mark made it through to semi final (top 36) and finished 13th out of over 500 applicants. Last year in the 2007 'Top Technician' competition Mark went one better and out of over 700 entrants made it into the final 12 which involved a further tougher exam paper and then the 'live final' tasks held at the Automotive Trade Show at the N.E.C. This was a great experience for Mark competing against the countries best technicians. In the 2008 Top Technician competition after another three rounds of theory and practical tests, Mark was announced as overall winner on June 9th 2008 from more than 1000 initial entrants. Mark is one of the first registered ATA technicians at an independent garage in the High Wycombe area and recently passed the assessment to upgrade from Diagnostic Technician to the highest attainable Master Technician level. Mark is a Member of the Institute of the Motor Industry (MIMI) and also belongs to the Frank Massey Network which is a prestigious group of the very best technicians from across the country.
Cindy Rumford - Office Manager Cindy, Mike's daughter, joined the company in April 2001 as book keeper and receptionist. Cindy is now running the office upstairs and has recently passed a diploma in business development.
Adam Heady - Senior Technician Adam joined us at Easter 2006 as a senior technician and M.O.T. tester. Adam has over 20 years experience in the motor trade and is very skilled in many areas. As well as servicing, repairs and MOT testing, Adam specialises in air conditioning system regas and repairs, diagnostic testing and fault finding and welding and fabrication repairs just to name a few. Adam is an ATA accredited diagnostic technician Luke Featherstone - Service Technician Joined the company in September 2001 as an apprentice motor mechanic. Luke specialises in routine servicing and has recently had training and passed the assesments to become an MOT tester. Ross Summers - Apprentice technician Ross has been working with us since August 2007, He is currenty attending a day release college training program and working hard towards gaining his qualifications.
